Gulliver McGrath
Three years ago, child star McGrath appeared alongside Guy Pearce in MTC production Poor Boy. This year, he’ll be seen in Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows and Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln. Not bad for a 13-year-old.
Margot Robbie
The former Neighbours actor is impressing American audiences in Pan Am, a series about the pilots and stewardesses of Pan American Airways in the 1960s. The Mad Men-esque period drama also stars Christina Ricci.
Phoebe Tonkin
Regular gigs in Packed to the Rafters and Home & Away led to US TV offers, including her current role in popular teen supernatural drama The Secret Circle, created by Scream mastermind Kevin Williamson.
Xavier Samuel
The heart throb experienced the full force of Twilight mania with his role in 2010’s Eclipse. He’s soon to be seen alongside Sam Worthington in Drift, filmed in Margaret River, about the 1970s surf industry.
James Frecheville
Melbourne-raise d Frecheville turned heads with his starring role in acclaimed Aussie feature Animal Kingdom. Soon to be seen in romantic comedy The First Time, he’s also gearing up for a role in drama The Grandmothers with Naomi Watts.
Adelaide Clemens
Best known for her Logie-nominated performance in Foxtel drama Love My Way, Clemens has scored a string of Hollywood roles. In 2009, she had a small part in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and this year will appear as the lead in horror flick Silent Hill: Revelation 3D.
