SOUTH Port Day Links is short 10 drivers for its volunteer program.

The shortage means the groups clients are unable to get to appointments such as doctors, shopping, community groups, the pub or bingo.

Volunteer co-ordinator Mary Kehoe says the organisation usually has a fleet of 30 drivers, including Ash Thomas, pictured helping Merle Blackmore, but had several drivers out on long-term sick leave.

To join call 9646 6362.
